Amy Mickle Designing Shirts for Grape Apparel

We are please to announce that talented artist Amy Mickle will begin designing wine-themed merchandise for Grape Apparel. Mickle, an accomplished painter, graphic artist, and web designer, has been making the world a more beautiful place for over ten years, applying her skills from canvases to the servers of some of America's largest corporations.

Update on Rankings

I'm happy to say that we have shot up in the rankings on most of our targeted search terms. On Google, we are on the first page for all search terms and ranked no lower than third. In fact, the only site ranked higher than us on any search term is Cafepress. That's pretty good.

Yahoo is a little different. Even though we improved on some search terms and are on page 1 for all terms, we did have a drop of a few positions on some of the terms. Some fluctuation is acceptable, and since previously we did not place on page one for all keywords, it's still a positive development.

MSN has us positioned identical to Google, which is great for us.

We now occupy the top position for the term Wine Apparel!

New Site

It's been a while since I've written to the blog. Grape Apparel continues to do well. We've made a few new designs and sold several designs for the first time since the last post. Thank you to all our customers who have purchased and enjoy their Grape Apparel merchandise.

Unfortunately, Grape Vision did not have the type of response that we expected, and we wound up taking it down for now. Maybe we'll revive it in the future with a few modifications.

Along with being a huge fan of wine, I'm also a big fan of football. I've made a new site called www.football-schedule.net, where you can see the full 2008 nfl football schedule. In the future I will add college football and European football schedules. Check it out and enjoy.

I've managed to get a pretty cool new domain name to link to Grape Apparel. You can now access the site through www.grapeapparel.com or www.winetshirt.com.

Grape Vision

I've created a program to track your wine collection and manage your cellar. It's still in beta testing, but I've worked very hard on it for some time now, and I'm very happy with it. It's open and available to the public to use, but since it's still testing it may not work perfectly.

I've also added forums to the site. The forums are a great place to talk about wine, talk about grape vision, or post comments, leave feedback, or make suggestions to improve the site.

Grape Vision is 100% free to use, so if you think you'd be interested in tracking your wines, give it a shot.
